Reinhard spent his early life in Nuremberg, Germany, where he graduated from the Hotel Industry School in Nuremberg. While cutting his teeth at the Carlton Hotel Nuremberg, Reinhard was soon lured to Paris, where he embarked upon an extensive international career in the best-in-class hotel industry, beginning at the Ritz Paris.

Continuing his studies at the Berlitz School in Paris in Hotel Administration, Reinhard brought his luxuryhotel experience around the world, from Switzerland to South Africa, back to Paris, Nice and Monte Carlo, and then to Southern California, where he now calls home.

Inspired by the passion of Isador Sharp for the luxury hotel industry, Reinhard continued his stateside career with Four Seasons, including properties in Santa Barbara, Seattle, Maui, and Chicago. Most notable within the hotel industry was Reinhard’s role in opening the Four Seasons in Berlin and Hawaii-Big Island.

He advanced his career by working his way up the ladder in the hotel’s food and beverage and rooms divisions.

From there, Reinhard opened the first St. Regis Resort Hotel in Dana Point, California, as the Hotel Manager/General Manager before moving on to a Hotel and Real Estate Investment Firm in Newport Beach as the VP of Hospitality & Asset Management and Laguna Beach, California, where he resides on the coast with his beautiful wife and dog, Otto.

He also spent five years in the “Big Apple” by being part of the pre-opening management team of the iconic Essex House undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation by Nikko Hotels. While acquiring an invaluable experience in NYC, he also had the immense pleasure of the arrival of his daughter in his life.

Reinhard is fluent in German, French, and English.
